  • Natural Soaps and Lotions – if we’re going to be washing out hands constantly, and slapping on some extra sanitizer, why not enjoy the process? Rocky Mountain Soap Co. uses natural ingredients and you’ll fall in love with how great their products feel and how great they smell!
  • Grown Up Face Masks – getting to the spa right now might be a stretch, but a Skin Republic Face or Foot mask is the next best thing. I’m obsessed with the collagen eye patches and the foot peel!

Gift Guide for Kids 2-4 Years Old:

  • Play-Doh – you can never go wrong with a little Play-Doh magic. And this Play-Doh Cluck-a-Dee Feather Fun Chicken is brilliant. A combination of interactive play and imagination make the feathers sprout from your clucky friend, or have her lay a Play-Doh egg. Hours of fun for you and the kids!
  • Cooperative Play – the VTech Helping Heroes Fire Station is the best way to get your kiddos playing together. Audio cues prompt your kiddos to tackle different rescues, and then the whole station transforms into a truck, so the team can head out and be the helping heroes themselves!
  • Books – a no-brainer, and something we always include for our kids. Two of our favourite this year are: Race Cars (a brilliant book that explains white privilege to young kids), and The Adventures of Grandmasaurus (an intergenerational tale of a zany field trip with Grandma!).
  • Wooden Toys – handmade wooden toys that focus on inclusivity? That’s what The Lockwood These heirloom quality toys are absolute perfection, and they’re the perfect way to have disability representation in the toy box.

  • More Books – I know we mentioned this above, but you can never have enough! Em’s new favourite is the Dragon Masters They’re a series of intro-level chapter books that bourgeoning readers will love!

  • Kids Camera – the Vtech KidiZoom Creator Cam is the perfect kids camera for any budding content creator. It’s durable, has parental control for sharing built in, can shoot photos or video AND comes with it’s own tripod and green screen! This one is HOURS of creative fun for your older kiddos!
  • Kids Affirmation Cards – the adorable and thoughtful Joyful Hearts affirmation cards are the perfect way to start the new year off on a positive note for your little ones. We read them each morning to start our day, but they’re perfect lunchbox notes too!
  • Transformer Magic – if your kids are as nuts about Transformers as mine are, the Bumblebee Cyberverse Officer Class figure is a no-brainer. It had voice-activated commands, and enough interactive components to keep them engaged in play for hours!
