Mini Home Tour: Toddler-Friendly Holiday Decor!

It’s that time again – time to get the house feeling festive and fun with Holiday décor!

This year is the first that Emmett’s really old enough to understand what’s happening, and it’s so much fun to see him get excited about Christmas and what the season is all about!

I absolutely looooove Christmas time, but given that we live in a tiny space AND that we have a toddler on the loose, I find myself trying to strike a balance with our décor.

My goals for this year’s decorating?

  1. Make it feel festive and fun for the kiddos (and the adults)
  2. Choose Holiday décor that blends with the overall feel of our home, so that it doesn’t feel overpowering in our small space.
  3. Keep the décor up relatively high and safely away from chubby toddler hands!

So we headed out to the Home Depot to pick up everything we’d need to get ourselves feeling festive… and here’s what we ended up with!

NOTE: We worked with Home Depot Canada to build our Holiday decor for this post and for this Holiday season! We were provided the items at no cost, and we love them!
