Body Positivity Is NOT the Opposite of Healthy Living!

mom-body-positivityOooookay guys. There’s been an awful lot of concern and conversation swirling around the social media space about body positivity that past few days. The general discussion has been centred around the idea that being ‘body positive’ somehow gives people the permission to be unhealthy. When it comes right down to it, it sounds like folks are legitimately concerned that the Body Positive movement could be a threat to health and wellness (I get it… I mean if I genuinely thought that, I’d be worried too!).

Well friends, Charlie and I have some thoughts. If you have three minutes take a watch.

It’s a touch more opinionated than we typically get in this space, but it’s really freaking important. We’re talking about why Body Positivity is so dang important, and more importantly why it should absolutely NOT under any circumstances be seen a threat to health and wellness!
